Brazilian electric motorbikes manufacturer Voltz Motors announced on Monday that it is entering the esports scene by sponsoring Imperial Esports. The agreement, which was negotiated by esports promotion company Gaming Culture, is valid for one year. Voltz brand will be promoted on the sleeves and the back of Imperial Esports’s jerseys, and on the team’s social media channels.
Voltz seeks to approach the esports audience, which, according to the company, loves technology and might be receptive to the company’s purpose of developing electric motorbikes in Brazil. The announcement was made through a video published on Imperial’s social media, in which a Valorant player, Kayke “Evilkyk” Arrais, rides a Voltz bike.
Imperial currently fields rosters in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Valorant, Free Fire, and CrossFire. Other sponsors are the betting websites Sportsbet.io and Gamdom.com, and hardware manufacturer XPG.
