Complexity take down OG in nail biting best-of-three to secure playoff appearance

Complexity have earned their place in the DreamHack Open Summer playoffs with a win over OG. Having not met in an event since the BLAST Premier Spring 2020 Europe Finals playoffs, this was a highly anticipated match. Meeting in the upper bracket quarter-final at the BLAST Premier, it was Complexity that prevailed and this meeting would be no different.

The series only took two maps but nearly went the distance in both with Complexity narrowly taking Nuke 16-14 before once again being forced to fight tooth and nail to claim a 16-13 win over OG on Mirage to secure the series 2-0.

Valentin ‘poizon’ Vasilev showed his poise with the AWP once again, topping the leaderboard for the European and North American mix. Finishing with a server high +19 kill-to-death differential. In even better news for Complexity, not a single player went negative across the series even with how close the maps were.

OG on the other hand were not so lucky with only Mateusz ‘mantuu’ Wilczewski finishing with a positive k/d at +2. The team’s in-game leader Aleksi ‘Aleksib’ Virolainen led his team in damage done, however, at 80.3 average damage per round with only one kill less than mantuu.
