Dota 2 statsman Noxville lists amazing game and player data after 50,000 professional games

Team Aster and iG Vitality played on December 21, 2020 at Huya Dota2 Winter Invitational what was the 50,000 professional Dota 2 game and to mark the milestone, datDota developer and statistician Ben “Noxville” Steenhuisen shared on his Twitter account a list of some of the most amazing stats registered across the years in official games.

One of the analytics highlighted by Noxville refers to game length with the average of game time across all 50,000 competitive matches being just 36 minutes and 26 seconds. The extremes feature the shortest official game ending at 6 minutes, 37 seconds while the longest game being played for 3 hours, 20 minutes, and 34 seconds.

From all professional players across all years of competitive Dota 2, Jacky “EternaLEnVy” Mao stands apart as being the one who played the most 60+ minute games. His record is 114 games going beyond the 60 minute mark.

According to Noxville, the competitive scene had 12,414 unique players registered to 3,269 different teams. Out of those 12,414 players, only 17 played more than 1,000 games for a single team. Both Evil Geniuses and Alliance have three players each that have been that loyal.

When looking at average performances in pro games, Noxville discovered that on average, there are 24 kills and 50 assists for each side, Radiant and Dire. A pro player has 22 hours of professional matches played, scores a kill every 7 minutes and 45 seconds and dies every 7 minutes and 34 seconds.

There are only two players in the history of matches played on LAN tournaments who managed to score more than 30 kills on their own in a single game and still lose that match.

As stand outs, in the compLexity vs Infamous lower bracket series at Dream League Season 10, Andrei Gabriel “skem” Ong on Phantom Assassin landed 33 kills in the second game, while Syed “SumaiL” Hassan scored 31 kills with Tiny against OG in the TI8 upper bracket semifinals, third game of the series, but still lost the games.

Speaking of individual performances, Amer “Miracle-” Al-Barkawi boasts not only the fastest Roshan kill with his 12 Spark Wraiths one shot Rosh in the EPICENTER Major 2019 grand finals against Vici Gaming, but he also has a very unique achievement of winning a 1 versus 5 fight by killing all 5 enemy heroes.
