Meat snacks maker Jack Link’s has entered into a multi-year partnership agreement with esports organization Fnatic. The deal follows an initial pairing in which Fnatic and Jack Link’s UK teamed up for an interview video in 2019.
Under the new deal, the Jack Link’s logo will be displayed on Fnatic jerseys and the companies will collaborate on new content. According to a release, the partnership will be framed as providing gamers with a healthier alternative to “snacking on sugary, greasy food that [lacks] nutrition, which often results in an adverse impact on their performance.
In a recent interview with Sports Business Journal, Jack Link’s marketing execs discussed the company’s intention to expand its esports and gaming partnership portfolio. The company has also formed a relationship with Envy Gaming which began in 2019.
