Brazilian esports organization paiN Gaming has signed a sponsorship deal with audio equipment brand JBL. The brand will be displayed on the jerseys of paiN’s League of Legends (LoL), Valorant, Free Fire, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO), and Clash Royale lineups beginning in January. Also, marketing activations with the brand are also planned with paiN’s influencers.
Besides the sponsorship, JBL, a brand owned by the American equipment manufacturer Harman, will also provide paiN with audio kits for the organization’s living spaces and its gaming line of headsets to all streamers and pro players. JBL’s sponsorship of paiN Gaming is a step by the brand to promote its equipment to the gaming community and position the brand in the esports environment, for which it will rely on paiN’s consultancy.
Financial details were not disclosed. The agreement is valid for one year. Other paiN Gaming sponsors are Coca-Cola, TIM Live, BMW, Motorola, Ame Digital, Tinder, apparel brand Piticas, bank BS2, and Western Digital, which recently has renewed its contract.
