LaNm stands in for Team Aster as they remove Ch from the squad

Team Aster have decided to change their position 5 player
again as Li “Ch” Chen does not pass his trial period and will be replaced by
the coach until a suitable replacement is found.

After Jiang “天命” An moved to inactive late in October, Team Aster would welcome Li “Ch” Chen to the roster, a player that has been around in the Dota 2 community for a very long time – playing previously under the name Chisbug. Having played aa single tournament with the team, the recent CDA-FDC Professional Championship, Ch helped the squad to attain a fourth-place finish. However, being on trial, this was deemed to not be enough as Aster have now announced his removal from the squad.

In a post made via their Weibo, Aster confirmed that Ch would no longer be a part of the team, with well-known coach, Zhang “LaNm” Zhicheng taking over in the position 5 role until a replacement is found. The post reads as follows:

Through repeated negotiations between the management and the players, we have made the following adjustments to our Dota 2 roster based on careful consideration of the team growth. Li “Ch” Chen, the position 5 player on trial, has failed to stay in the team. Zhang “LaNm” Zhicheng, the coach, will temporarily play as position 5 while coaching.
During the trial, Ch’s excellent performance has been recognized by all, however, he isn’t able to play along with us due to teamwork and problems in synergy. We extend sincere gratitude to “Brother Shark” (Ch’s nickname) for all his devotion to the team and we wish him peak in his future career in esports.”

Aster will be participating in the upcoming China Dota2 Pro
Cup Season 2 alongside the likes of PSG.LGD, Vici Gaming, Elephant.4AM and
EHOME – which is where we will get to see if LaNm’s knowledge can help them
attain victories over some of the strongest teams in China.
