Nobru Signs With Felipe Neto’s Play9 to Create New YouTube Channels – The Esports Observer

Brazilian Free Fire player and esports superstar Bruno “Nobru” Goes signed with Play9, a content company owned by Felipe Neto, the fifth-biggest YouTuber in the world with 41M subscribers, for the creation of three new channels on YouTube. The deal was negotiated by Play9 co-founders João Pedro Paes Leme and Marcus Vinicius Freire, with Renan Philip, co-founder of 3C Gaming, the company that manages Nobru’s career.

The deal is both a move by Nobru to expand his content and a move by Play9 to expand its presence in the gaming market. Nobru already has a 10M-subscriber channel on YouTube, but the plan with Play9 is to create a new channel focused on the international market — especially in Indonesia and India where the player is already known — another channel for expanding Nobru’s image outside the gaming world, and a third to be announced in 2021.

Although Nobru has a contract with Twitch, TEO learned that it does not prohibit him from creating content for other platforms as long as they are not live streams. In 2021, Nobru founded his own esports organization, named Fluxo, then proceeded to win the Brazilian League of Free Fire (LBFF) with it, and will dispute the world championship in Singapore in May. Back in 2019, Nobru not only won the world championship with Corinthians Free Fire but was also chosen as the best player in the world.
