PSG.LGD move Chalice to carry and welcome old eLeVeN in the offlane

After a delayed competitive start of the season and a couple of botched Major qualifiers, PSG.LGD are once again making a roster change. The new line-up is set to debut this weekend at the WeSave! Charity Play online tournament.

Saturday, March 21st will mark Yang “Chalice”‘ Shenyi’s return to the carry role. Although he never took the first position since he joined PSG.LGD, back in December 2017, during his competitive debut with Team MAX.Y he used to play carry and he was doing it rather successfully.  With him moving now from the offlane to the top lane, PSG.LGD welcomed Ren “old eLeVeN” Yangwei to their ranks to take the offlane duties. While he is more known for his two years stay with EHOME, old eLeVeN is actually not at his first venture with PSG.LGD, back in 2017 playing for them on loan and placing fourth under the LGD banner at TI7. Most recently, he played for Revive, but didn’t find success with the young organization.

Having Chalice switching to carry and the offlane role taken by old eLeVeN, it means that Li “ASD” Zhiwen is out of the roster after just a one-month stint with PSG.LGD

PSG.LGD official announcement on Weibo

ASD joined the team just two days before the open qualifiers for the ESL One Los Angeles Major and unfortunately, his late arrival didn’t yield any results, PSG.LGD being eliminated in the open brackets for the second time in a row.

PSG.LGD current roster from position 1 to 5:

  • Yang “Chalice”‘ Shenyi
  • Lu “Somnus/Maybe” Yao
  • Ren “old eLeVeN” Yangwei
  • Xu “fy” Linsen
  • Jian Wei “xNova” Yap
