Seraphine will come with Patch 10.22. Abilities and skins revealed.

After many months of rumors, Seraphine has finally been officially revealed by Riot Games. One of the most hyped champions for League of Legends will come to the live servers together with the next Patch 10.22, which release date will be the upcoming Thursday, October 29th.

As we have been witnessing during the last few months thanks to her social media profiles, Seraphine is a “music superstar” in Runeterra, especially in the most advanced civilizations, Zaun and Piltover.

Another thing that we previously knew is that Seraphine would have a collaboration with K/DA, the most famous virtual band created by Riot Games.

And here is one of the first big news that the videogame company revealed: the new champion will come alongside her first skin, and it will be a K/DA skin!!

This skin is surely the most special ultimate skin we have ever had. In the image above we can see how it will look like when we purchase it… but that is not its definitive form.

Once we have the skin, it will change to the aspect above after completing three missions in the skin’s questline! The intention of it is to show Seraphine’s development, from being an unknown artist that was singing covers in her room with her guitar, to slowly become a superstar.

After completing two more missions, Seraphine’s K/DA skin reaches its full form:

When we have unlocked these three forms, we will be able to choose the version of it we want to play during the champion select phase.

This ultimate skin will be available in the store for 3250 RP, as well as two icons, an emote, and a border that we can have by unlocking some missions.

Seraphine Abilities

Of course, alongside her skins and release date, we have known the abilities of the new champion, which have been very criticized by the community, that thinks that this is nothing but an upgraded version of Sona.

Passive – Stage Presence

Every third basic ability Seraphine casts will echo, automatically casting a second time. Additionally, whenever she casts an ability nearby an ally, she will create a Note. Each Note gives her basic attacks more attack range and deals additional magic damage, consuming the Note.

Q – High Note

Seraphine projects a pure note, dealing magic damage that’s increased by the target’s missing health percentage.

W – Surround Sound

Seraphine surrounds her nearby allies in a song, granting herself and her allies movement speed and a shield. If Seraphine is already shielded, she can heal her nearby allies, restoring health based on how many allies are near her.

E – Beat Drop

Seraphine unleashes a heavy soundwave, dealing magic damage to enemies in a line and slowing them. Enemies that are already slowed are rooted, and already rooted enemies are stunned.

R – Encore

Seraphine takes the stage, projecting a captivating force that charms enemies and deals magic damage. Any champions struck (allies included) become part of the performance, extending the range of the ability and granting allies maximum Notes.
