Team Aster announce incoming roster adjustments

Team Aster had just finished the OGA Dota PIT Season 4 in the top 6. Their participation in the tournament was hindered by the absence of Liu “DD斩首” Yuhao who couldn’t join his team for this event due to personal issues.

Aster had to use two stand-in players to go through group stage and playoffs matches and following their exit from the competition earlier this week, they updated their fans on what’s next for the team.

According to a post made on their Weibo account, DD will be re-joining the team shortly, but some roster changes are bound to happen.

“Thank you Kamma and Phoenix for helping us out. DD is going to be back very soon, and we will welcome new challenges after a short rest and some adjustments,” said Team Aster.

Like most of the other teams in their region, Aster underwent a big roster shakeup in August during the big shuffle in China. Unfortunately, they couldn’t keep the roster intact after that and had to replace a couple of players in the months that followed. Last month they waved goodbye to their position 5 support, Li “Chisbug” Chen and brought in their coach, Zhang “LaNm” Zhicheng.

With LaNm standing-in since November 11, Aster placed third at CDA-FDC Professional Championship Season 2, finished runners up at China Dota2 Pro Cup Season 2 and most recently placed sixth at OGA Dota PIT.

 Team Aster current roster:

  • Du “Monet” Peng
  • Liu “DD斩首” Yuhao
  • Lin “Xxs” Jing
  • Ye “BoBoKa” Zhibiao
  • Zhang “LaNm” Zhicheng (stand-in)
