Tfue Surpasses 10 Million Followers On Twitch

Following in the footsteps of professional gamer Richard Tyler “Ninja” Blevins, Turner “Tfue” Tenney has surpassed the 10 million follower milestone.

When Fortnite rose to popularity on Twitch, it led to a massive surge in the number of streamers. While some earned fame despite being bad at the game because they were exciting to watch, others were able to form a fanbase due to their ability to rack up Victory Royales in Epic Games’ battle royale.

Being a part of the latter category, the 23-year-old American streamer made quite an impression in the battle royale during its early days. He won several tournaments for FaZe Clan along with duo partner Dennis “Cloakzy” Lepore.

He eventually moved away from Fortnite, deciding to go for variety streaming instead, focusing on Call of Duty: Warzone. Nevertheless, this affected neither his popularity nor growth.

Tfue has always been the closest streamer to dethroning his long-time rival Ninja as the most-followed Twitch channel. This is even despite lagging a few million followers behind him.

Tfue Achieves 10 Million Followers Milestone

Though, he has been leaving no stone unturned in an attempt to close the gap. In his February 13 stream, Tfue surpassed the 10 million follower milestone while he was playing Minecraft. Tfue is only the second channel to achieve this. There are no prizes for guessing, he celebrated it with some drinks.

Tfue said, “Alright chat, thanks for 10 million followers,” and chugged two beers simultaneously. That was all as far as the celebration was concerned, and he went back to playing Minecraft.

Some fans wanted to be the lucky 10 millionth follower so they unfollowed his channel but later followed him back as his channel grew to an impressive mark.

The gap of followers between Ninja and Tfue is still pretty big. However, he has at least over a million followers ahead of third-placed Shroud.
