Ubisoft has announced that Assassin's Creed: The Ezio Collection is coming to Switch on February 17. The game's upcoming release on the Nintendo Switch marks the first time that Assassin's Creed 2, Brotherhood, and Revelations will be made available on a Nintendo platform as well as two short films set in the same universe titled Assassin's Creed Embers and Assassin's Creed Lineage.
Ubisoft announced the news earlier today via a short YouTube video uploaded to its North American YouTube channel. The video shows a series of action-packed moments from all three games, including Ezio's birth as an assassin. Be aware, the trailer also shows key moments in each story, so it's probably best to avoid it if you're wanting to go in unspoiled.
For those that haven't played any of games included within The Ezio Collection, all three take place during different periods in Ezio Auditore's life as an assassin. Ezio's line of games are considered to be some of the best in the Assassin's Creed series, so you're definitely in for a treat if you pick this collection up next month.
As for the future of Assassin's Creed, the series' latest game – Assassin's Creed Valhalla – is still being supported with new events and DLC. Dawn of Ragnarok was announced in December last year and promises to "lean heavily" into Asgardian legend, taking players on a 40 hour long quest into Svartalfheim.
Unfortunately, this DLC is still a couple of months away and is expected to launch on March 10. To tide you over for now, you can pick up some free crossover DLC that launched last month that pits Assassin's Creed Valhalla and Assassin's Creed Odyssey protagonists Eivor and Kassandra against each other.
Assassin's Creed Valhalla is currently available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Google Stadia. If you want to know more about the game before you jump in, you can read our review here.
