Diablo 4 update 1.1.1 release date, launch time, patch notes and balance changes

Diablo 4 fans are counting down to the release of update 1.1.1 on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and PC. The new Diablo 4 update has an August 8 release date and a 6pm BST UK launch time. It’s possible the update will launch alongside a period of server downtime, so keep checking back for the latest developments. The release of update 1.1.1 is particularly good news for fans of the Barbarian and Sorcerer classes, as Blizzard increases their attack power, skills and overall potency.

The Barbarian’s Enhanced Charge attack will do double the damage, while Fury generation is increased for all basic skills.

Violent Upheaval also gets an upgrade, with players gaining Berserking for  two seconds after damaging at least two enemies. It increases to three seconds if it damages four enemies.

The Sorcerer, meanwhile, does more Chain Lightning damage, has a wider fireball radius, and has a better chance of performing a critical strike after casting Fireball or Meteor.

The Rogue also receives numerous buffs, including to the Rain of Arrows attack, which knocks down enemies for three seconds during its first wave.

The Druid character class gains more spirit after performing basic skills like Earth Spike, Claw and Storm Strike.

Likewise, Druids do more passive damage and have increased maximum life damage.

The Necromancer has the fewest changes, although fans will be pleased to hear that bonus damage is increased, while willpower requirements are reduced.

Elsewhere, some areas will have more monsters to battle, while bosses will be boosted to make things more challenging in World Tiers three and four. This also ties in to improved item drops.
