When Square Enix introduced the Gold Saucer to Final Fantasy 14, it added a host of minigames for players to enjoy and subsequent updates have added even more content. Mini-game machines, Triple Triad, Chocobo Racing, Mahjong, and more can all be found in the Gold Saucer, and all of these can earn you Manderville Gold Saucer Points (MGP).
There are plenty of items to be purchased with MGP, including mounts, minions, hairstyles, furnishings, gear, and more. You can purchase prizes in the Gold Saucer from the Prize Claim Gold Saucer Attendant NPC at (X:5.1, Y:6.7). Square Enix does update the prize vendor items from time to time too. Some of the very best prizes cost a small fortune, so you’ll likely be saving for some time to get them. Check out the ten most expensive MGP items just below.
10 Gold Paper Parasol — 200,000 MGP
For players who love a good old traditional accessory, they can purchase the lovely Gold Paper Parasol from the Prize Claim NPC and shade themselves from that hot Eorzean sun. This item will set you back 200,000 MGP and can be found under the “Prize Claim II” category.
9 Cuff-a-Cur Machine — 300,000 MGP
The Golden Saucer is home to many little mini-game machines that you can play to earn very small amounts of MGP. These mini-games are super fun and some of them are really cute too. It came as no surprise that some of these were later added as home furnishing items that could be purchased with MGP.
You can buy your own Cuff-a-Cur Machine complete with adorable little Gilgamesh for 300,00 MGP. This item is found under the “Prize Claim II” category.
8 Monster Toss Machine — 300,000 MGP
The next mini-game machine that you can purchase and put in your Free Company house or room is the Monster Toss Machine. These machines are quite hefty, so be sure to make room in your home.
The cost of all these minigame machines is the same, and as such the Cuff-a-Cur machine will also cost you 300,000 MGP. This item is found under the “Prize Claim II” category.
7 Crystal Tower Striker — 300,000 MGP
The last mini-machine available to purchase is the Crystal Tower Striker, allowing players to test their strength even in the comforts of their own home. This machine costs 300,00 MGP and can be found under the “Prize Claim II” category.
6 Angel Wings — 500,000 MGP
For players who want to stand out from the crowd and look rather heavenly, the Angel Wings item can be purchased for 500,000 MGP. This is a great option for those who want an angelic look but don’t want to pay out real money to purchase the Angelic Attire from the optional items store. This item is found under the “Prize Claim II” category.
5 Korpokkur Kolossus Horn 750,000 MGP
Korpokkurs are an adorable enemy monster that can be found in the Saint Mocianne’s Arboretum dungeon. Players immediately fell in love with their little cute faces and, fortunately for fans of the little sprouts, Square Enix included a Korpokkur minion and mount into the game.
The Korpokkur Kolossus Horn will enable you to be able to summon the mount and it can be purchased from the Prize Claim NPC for 750,000 MGP. This item is found under the “Prize Claim I” category.
4 Archon Throne — 750,000 MGP
One of the many mounts that you can purchase with MGP is the Archon Throne. If you’ve ever wished that you could summon a chair at any time for your character, this is the mount for you.
This mount will cost you 750,000 MGP, but it’s well worth it so you can lord it over your fellow players. This item is found under the “Prize Claim I” category.
3 Typhon Horn — 750,000 MGP
Typhon is a recurring character in the Final Fantasy franchise. He usually appears as an enemy, but has also appeared as a summon before. In Final Fantasy 14, Typhon appears as a boss alongside Ultros in The Dragon’s Neck, one of the trials linked to the Gilgamesh storyline.
For fans of this pink monster, they can purchase a Typhon Horn that will allow them to summon him as a mount for the price of 750,000 MGP. This item is found under the “Prize Claim II” category.
2 Fenrir Horn — 1,000,000 MGP
The Fenrir Horn allows you to summon the Fenrir mount and, for a long time, it was the most expensive item available for purchase with MGP. However, with the addition of new prizes being added, it has now dropped to the second most expensive item you can buy.
This mount costs 1,000,000 MGP, but it’s definitely worth it as it looks super cool. Square Enix did add a reskinned red version of this mount called the Managram, which can only be purchased with Gold Feathers. However, this other version is much smaller than Fenrir. This item is found under the “Prize Claim I” category.
1 Sabotender Emperador Horn — 2,000,000 MGP
What better way to show your love for the Gold Saucer than by purchasing a mount that replicates what the Gold Saucer looks like. Fortunately, the Gold Saucer itself resembles an adorable Soabotender, so in effect, you are riding a giant cactuar.
The Sabotender Emperador Horn is currently the most expensive item available from the Prize Claim NPC and costs a whopping 2,000,000 MGP. You might have to save for a long time for this one, or hope you get super lucky with a Jumbo Cactpoct win! This item is found under the “Prize Claim II” category.
