Injustice 3 reveal inbound as series’ tie-in comics writer drops teasers

Tom Taylor, the writer responsible for the Injustice tie-in comics has been teasing a potential reveal coming soon for the series.

Though these teasers come from the writer who worked on the tie-in comics, it's quite possible that one could lead to the other.

As per DualShockers, the Injustice 1 and 2 tie-in comics were both released after the games’ both launched.

In the last few days, Taylor has posted two images on Twitter. Two letters – I and N – which uses the same font as the game, along with some quotes from the comics.

Now, this isn't to say that Injustice 3 is 100% coming. It might be possible that Warner Bros are spinning the comics into something entirely separate

But it's hard to not think that something else could be brewing from the team at NetherRealm.

Warner Bros announced DC FanDome earlier this year – a free global online event that'll be packed with big announcements across DC movies, games, and comics.

The event takes place from 6pm (UK time) on August 22.

We would imagine that whatever Injustice news Warners has to share, will be shared then.

Though NetherRealm doesn't appear to be done with Mortal Kombat 11 just yet, we suspect that it wouldn't be out of the question to see some sort of tease for Injustice 3 in the form of a CGI trailer.

Stay tuned for more news throughout August.
