Magic: The Gathering Arena Free Codes

Magic: The Gathering is one of the oldest, and greatest, card games out there. It’s been around for over two and a half decades, and it remains popular today because it’s so much fun.

If you’ve never played MtG before, then let me break it down for you.

In Magic: The Gathering, you build a deck of cards and then try to defeat your opponent. The main one is by reducing your opponent’s life points to zero. You can do this in a variety of ways, most of which involve summoning mythical creatures and hitting your opponent in the face with them. There are other ways to beat them, but why complicate things this early one.

A lot of the fun of the game is building the decks themselves, but to do this you need cards, and to get cards you normally need money. Well, MtG Arena is the latest digital version of the game, and while you can still buy packs of cards if you want to, you can also unlock some free ones if you know how to. That way, you can start off a bit stronger than everyone else, plus, who doesn’t like free stuff?

So, in order to help you get started, here is a list of the various free codes you can use within Magic: The Gathering Arena.

Magic: The Gathering Arena Free Codes

The first lot of codes are for card styles, which are basically shiny versions of your normal cards. They only give you the style though, not the actual cards associated with them. You’ll still need to earn them in game. The second lot is for packs of cards; each pack contains cards that will get automatically added to your collection, they’re the exciting ones basically.

Along with these codes, you can find unique ones if you buy the Planeswalker decks. The codes within these give you a digital copy of the deck you’ve bought in real life, and they’re an excellent way to get you started alongside the free packs you can claim.

To enter these codes, all you need to do is head to the Store tab within MtG Arena, then look at the top right of the page. You’ll see a little box with ‘Redeem Code’ in it, enter the codes here and hit Enter, and you’ll have redeemed the codes. You can only do this once per account, so keep your fingers crossed that you get something good from the packs.
