WB Games and NetherRealm officially announced Mortal Kombat 11 Aftermath earlier in May – a new expansion coming to MK11 that'll include Robocop, Sheeva and Fujin.
From new characters to an expanded story mode, the game will be offering players quite a lot of brand new content to sink their teeth into – including Friendship finishing moves, that'll be returning for all characters.
Stage Fatalities, "the fan-favourite finishing moves that use the environment to destroy opponents" and the popular Friendships feature which "allows players to take down their adversaries with a hint of kindness" will both be added to the game for free for all players – even those that don't have the expansion.
And to celebrate this massive new update, WB Games and NetherRealm launched a new trailer showing off all these new finishing moves.
"Grab your best friend and favorite teddy bear – it’s time to enjoy the new Friendships coming to the entire roster of Mortal Kombat 11!" says the official description.
Better yet, those of you with eagle eyes may have noticed a special character making an appearance during Kitana's Friendship.
After lots of fan outcry about her absence from the game, it seems Mileena has finally made an appearance in Mortal Kombat 11.
Mileena – a clone of Kitana, created by Shang Tsung's sorcery in his flesh pits for Shao Kahn, using Tarkatan blood to create that trademark smile – makes a little cameo in the trailer.
It's not how a lot of MK11 fans would have had her appear, sure, but at least she's in there now.
Mortal Kombat 11 Aftermath will be available for all players on all platforms on May 26th and will bring a host of new content to the game.
