Undeniably one of the more adult social links in the whole of Persona 4 Golden, Eri Minami is a run-down stepmother who’s struggling to bond with her new husband’s son, Yuuta. She’s recently moved to Inaba with her husband, whose overseas business trip leaves her to handle the stepson, who can’t accept her as mother quite yet.
The course of your social link with Eri sees Yu trying to bridge the gap between Eri and Yuuta, even if that can be emotionally draining. For help maxing out Eri Minami’s social link in Persona 4 Golden, read on ahead.

How To Unlock Eri's Social Link At The Daycare Center
As the parent of a daycare-age child, you won’t meet Eri until you begin working at the daycare center.
This can be done like any of Yu’s part-time jobs in Persona 4 Golden – by checking the Bulletin Board in the North Shopping District. Work can be taken on at any point by visiting the Bulletin Board, and jobs can be worked as much or as little as you’d like during your year in Inaba.
However, you need to take the daycare job in order to meet Eri and her stepson. In Persona 4 Golden, this job is available beginning on 5/2, and you'll need to work at the daycare twice before you begin Eri's social link.
How To Rank Up Eri’s Social Link
Since you don’t meet Eri at least until May, you’ll likely be no stranger to how to maximize the amount of affinity earned during your hangout scenes.
Keep a Persona of the same arcana in your party when you hang out with a social link, you’ll earn a bonus affinity point on each answer that awards them.
In Persona 4 Golden, Eri Minami is your Temperance social link. Be sure to go to the Velvet Room before you see her to ensure you have a Temperance Persona in your party!
