PS5 UK stock could become available to buy once again this week, with rumours circulating that Argos, GAME and Very are getting PlayStation 5 restocks soon. Last month was arguably the best time to get a PS5 since the console launched in November, with plenty of restocks going live at a variety of UK retailers. Online stores such as GAME, Argos, Amazon, Very, AO.com, Smyths Toys, ShopTo, Currys PC World and John Lewis were all selling the PS5 next-gen console.
Some stocks lasted longer than others, with the PS5 restocks that arguably stuck around the longest being GAME and Argos.
If you missed out on one of these recent PS5 UK restocks then not to worry, rumour has it we could see more PlayStation 5 stock go live soon.
Stock tracker account PS5 Stock UK has in a recent tweet revealed dates they have been told by “insiders” for upcoming PS5 restocks.
And according to the @PS5StockAlertUK account we could see another Argos restock go live this week, with GAME and Very following next week.

Here’s what the PS5 stock account had to say: “Here are the dates I’ve been told by insiders so far. Retailers I haven’t listed doesn’t mean they won’t drop, just means I haven’t been told any dates yet.
“Argos – 04/02 GAME UK – 09/02 Very – 09/02.
“The Argos date can be delayed to 22/02 as the system still shows amber”.
As always with rumours it’s best to take them with a pinch of salt until official confirmation.
The PS5 stock tracker account also admitted that the rumoured PS5 restock at Argos this week could happen later in the month.
While in a previous tweet at the start of the month the PS5 Stock UK account also said: “We are not sure if drops will take place for certain this week, but if it does, it’ll only be 1-2 retailers. Most signs show that the major drops should start going live from the 2nd week of February onward. We’ll keep you updated.”
The PS5 Stock UK also raised hopes that February could be a “big” month for restocks following a surprise drop at Smyths Toys towards the end of January.
The PS5 Stock UK Twitter posted: “I’m aware Smyths Toys have dropped stock this morning around 8am. This was very unexpected for us all. They usually drop stock on a Friday after 9pm. Also the website stated February 2021. Only a small amount went live, possibly cancelled orders.
“February looks big for the #PS5”.
The account also added: “CEO Jim Ryan has stated the company expects to sell around 8 million PS5’s by the end of March, which is more than the PS4’s launch in it’s first whole year. Let’s keep it optimistic.”
The @PS5Instant account has also been tweeting about the next batch of PS5 restocks in the UK.
The account previously posted: “The next proper restock will be mid-Feb for most retailers.”
