Since then Ninja has returned to Twitch but it’s unclear if that’s going to be his permanent home, but Shroud, real name Michael Grzesiek has already signed up as an exclusive streamer.
His first new stream will begin tonight, 12 August, at 7pm BST, almost as if nothing had ever happened.
‘I am so excited to be able to announce my return to Twitch and more importantly get back to streaming,’ said Grzesiek in a statement.
‘As I was exploring options, I realised that there was no better place than Twitch to engage with the best and most loyal gaming community worldwide.
‘Twitch is where I was able to first turn my passion for streaming into a successful career – and it is all due to my incredible and loyal fanbase.’
Shroud has been nicknamed the ‘human aimbot’ for his skill at first person shooters, having started his career playing Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.
He still has over 7 million subscribers on Twitch and will now be able to pick up again with them, straight where he left off.
Since he’s a Twitch exclusive again he won’t be able to stream anywhere else but he seems fine with that and has even unveiled a new logo to promote himself.
