Monomi Park’s adorable pastel adventure is getting a sequel. Today, Microsoft revealed Slime Rancher 2 for Xbox Series X/S and the Windows Store, and of course, you’ll be able to grab it via Game Pass. Right now, it’s slated for some time in 2022.
Slime Rancher 2 looks like a return to what you know best from the original, as you’ll set sail across the Slime Sea with your vacpack once again to nab the adorable creatures. The original took you on a bubbly, colorful adventure in the first person where you collecting the jelly-like creatures for your ranch as Beatrix LeBeau.
Pay close attention to that end bumper, as it also reveals Slime Rancher 2 will head to other platforms. Right now, it seems to be slated to join the Microsoft lineup on Steam and the Epic Game Store, too.
The original charming adventure game was a hit for indie developer Monomi Park, and the studio just announced late last year that it sold over 3 million copies across its platforms.
