The Final Fantasy 7 Remake and the Avengers game are both confirmed as making an appearance during the Square Enix E3 2019 event.

However, what else Square Enix has up its sleeve remains a mystery with Final Fantasy 8, Final Fantasy 16 and Parasite Eve announcements also possible.

The Square Enix E3 2019 event kicks off at 6pm pacific time on Monday June 10, which is 2am BST on Tuesday June 11 for fans in the UK.

And if you’re wondering what to expect from the Square Enix E3 2019 event then has rounded up all the big rumours.

The Final Fantasy 7 Remake is set to be the big star of the Square Enix E3 2019 event.

Until recently fans looking forward to the remake of Cloud Strife’s iconic adventure in Midgar had to wait three and a half years for a new trailer.

But in May a new teaser for the Final Fantasy 7 Remake dropped with another appearing over the past weekend.

During the Final Fantasy VII A Symphonic Reunion concert that was held in LA on Sunday a new Final Fantasy 7 Remake trailer was revealed.

This teaser announced that the FF7 revival is out on March 3 2020 on PS4, with more news set to come during the Square Enix E3 2019 event.

It seems likely that some of the yet-to-be-revealed characters, such as Tifa Lockhart, will get unveiled during the Square Enix E3 2019 event.

While it’s also possible that Square Enix will elaborate on whether the Final Fantasy 7 Remake is still planned as an episodic game.

It’s also rumoured that the Final Fantasy 7 Remake could be coming to Xbox One, but it remains to be seen if this gets confirmed or not.

The Square Enix Avengers game was first announced back in January 2017, but since then news on the title has gone quiet.

Fans have yet to see any new screenshots or trailers since that initial reveal, but that’s all about to change soon.

It’s been confirmed that the Square Enix Avengers game will be making an appearance during E3 2019.

A new Twitter account for the game posted at the end of May: “Tune into Square Enix Live E3 2019 for the worldwide reveal of Marvel’s Avengers.”

And most recently the account tweeted: “Square Enix Live E3 2019 begins at 6:00 PM PT. Tune in for the world premiere of Marvel’s Avengers and get your first look at a universe gamers will play in for years to come.”

It’s believed the Square Enix Avengers game will be a third-person action adventure title which features stealth and fighting sections.

It looks like a remaster of Final Fantasy 8 could at last be announced by Square Enix.

In the run-up to E3 2019 Twitter user Sabi leaked a number of eye-catching announcements.

And all of their leaks have been spot on, with Sabi leaking Keanu Reeves’ character in Cyberpunk 2077 and Fallout 76’s battle royale mode.

And over the weekend Sabi also tweeted: “Final Fantasy 8 Remaster #E3Spoilers”.

Given how accurate Sabi’s predictions have been, fans of Squall and Rinoa’s PS1 adventure should be keeping a close eye on Square’s E3 event.

Parasite Eve could make a surprise appearance during the Square Enix E3 2019 event – that’s if a recent trademark is anything to go by.

In the run-up to E3 2019 Square Enix filed a new trademark for Parasite Eve in the UK.

The trademark that was filed was simply for the title Parasite Eve – it’s unclear if this could be a remake, a sequel or a port.

The trademark was unearthed earlier this month, and comes after a similar filing was made in Europe towards the end of 2018.

The last time a game in the Parasite Eve series was released was back in 2010 when The 3rd Birthday was launched on the PSP.

A surprise new entry, or even a remaster of the brilliant original, would surely go down well with the cult series’ legion of devoted fans.

Fans have been left wondering whether Square Enix will briefly tease Final Fantasy 16 during E3 2019.

On Twitter gamers have been speculating whether Square Enix will drop a surprise Final Fantasy 16 announcement during E3 2019.

And there’s reason to believe that Final Fantasy 16 could already be in the works ahead of a PS5 and Xbox Scarlett release date.

It was revealed earlier this year that initial development for a new AAA game from Square Enix’s Luminous studio has concluded.

The project, which is in the works for the PS5, has now moved onto the large-scale development phase and it’s being headed up by Naoki Yoshida.

Yoshida-san, who helped turn around the fortunes of Final Fantasy 14, previously expressed interest in working on a mainline Final Fantasy game.

And his involvement in a mysterious new Square Enix game has led to speculation that he could be working on Final Fantasy 16 right now.
