The Division 2 servers will be going down this morning following an announcement last night on the games official Twitter account.
“Agents, maintenance incoming tomorrow, June 25th at 09:30 AM CEST / 03:30 AM EDT / 12:30 AM PDT, approximately 2 hours.”
For those in the UK that means the server downtime will begin at 8.30 am BST, with maintenance lasting until (roughly) 11.30am BST.
As with any downtime for service games, prepare for the server maintenance to (potentially) take a little bit longer if things don’t go to plan.
Ahead of time the developers haven’t provided any guidance on what the update will fix, with a new forum post that doesn’t provide any preliminary patch notes or details.
However, there appears to be a myriad of things that need fixing since the launch of the games Title Update 4 last week.
Kotaku has noted that at the moment you can earn ammo when you kill various wildlife in the game, whilst PushSquare has summed up some of the many ongoing problems for the game in this blog post.
“Enemy AI has been all over the place for a while now, with foes either being way too aggressive or way too defensive to the point where bigger fights can become a chore — and guess what?” writes Push Square.
“Suicidal enemies are most definitely back, with even the lowliest of grunts charging your position without a care in the world. Not ideal in a game where cover-based combat is key.”
Stay tuned for more updates and official patch notes, later today.
