Fortnite developer Epic Games will use the Summer Game Fest event to premiere the Season 3 ‘Wilds’ trailer. After releasing a selection of teasers throughout the week, Epic will unveil a Season 3 trailer during the two hour Summer Game Fest stream. It’s unclear if it will be a cinematic story trailer, gameplay Battle Pass video or both. Whatever Epic reveals, you can watch the action unfold live by clicking play on the YouTube embed below. The Summer Game Fest takes place at 8pm BST UK time on June 8, although the exact time of the Fortnite reveal is yet to be announced. In the run up to the big Summer Game Fest reveal, Epic Games has previewed some of the new skins coming to Fortnite.
As you can see from the images below, the entire Battle Pass line-up (minus the secret skin) has been revealed ahead of Season 3.
Optimus Prime headlines the Battle Pass, as Epic Games teams up with the Transformers franchise ahead of the release of Rise of the Beasts.
Other skins include the adventurer Lorenzo, as well as Era, Trace and Rian. That’s on top of Mariposa, Relik, and Purradise Meowscles.
Fortnite insiders have also uncovered one or two additional features coming to Season 3.
According to Hypex, helicopters will come equipped with a launcher that fires every couple of seconds. It will be particularly devastating to buildings.
Then there’s the Lever Pistol, which is expected to pack a big punch at slower speeds.
Elsewhere, Epic Games is working an Epic/Legendary Thermal Bolt Action Sniper, as well as a Mythic Drum Shotgun.
