With two highly anticipated games — Star Wars: Squadrons and Microsoft Flight Simulator — ready to place players inside a virtual cockpit this fall, now’s the perfect time to build your own simulated flight rig. If you’ve been looking for a flight stick to add to your setup, though, many of the best models been hard to find and/or marked up by third party retailers. However as of Tuesday, Thrustmaster flight sticks are in stock at Amazon — at some of the lowest prices available on these particular models.
Polygon’s Charlie Hall recommended Thrustmaster’s TI6000M in his guide to building a gaming cockpit, or the more expensive Warthog as an upgraded pick. Typically $549.99, right now the Thrustmaster Warthog is on sale for $486.22. The TI600M is available for $159.99, which is about $100 cheaper than it’s hovering at third-party retailers. Finally, the smaller Thrustmaster T-Flight, notable for being compatible with the Xbox One as well as PC, is available for $79.99, $10 cheaper than it is elsewhere.
With Star Wars: Squadrons and Microsoft Flight Simulator on the way, as well as games like MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries and Elite: Dangerous available now, we expect these models to sell out quickly. The Warthog is currently out of stock, but as if this writing, Amazon is indicating that it will have more available on July 21.
Thrustmaster T16000M FCS HOTAS for PC
Thrustmaster is an old hand at flight sticks. Their 16000M series is compatible with games like Elite: Dangerous, MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries and the upcoming Microsoft Flight Simulator. It’s also the control stick of choice for bounty hunter Din Djarin on Disney Plus’ The Mandalorian.
