Bandai Namco’s E3 lineup appears to have leaked ahead of the annual gaming show, revealing new titles Elden Ring, the collaboration between Dark Souls studio FromSoftware and author George R.R. Martin; Tales of Arise, the next game in the fantasy role-playing game franchise; and Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch Remastered.
The leak appears to be sourced from a security vulnerability on Bandai Namco’s website, leading to screenshots and descriptions of each game finding their way to the Resetera forums.
Elden Ring is said to be FromSoftware’s “largest game to date” and “a fantasy action-RPG adventure set within a world created by [Dark Souls creator] Hidetaka Miyazaki … and George R.R. Martin, author of the A Song of Ice and Fire series. A logo for the previously rumored game was posted on Twitter by Niko Partners analyst Daniel Ahmad.
Elden Ring is reportedly coming to PlayStation 4, Windows PC, and Xbox One.
Tales of Arise, pictured at the top of this post, is an action role-playing game set in the Tales series featuring “a new cast of characters, updated combat, and classic Tales of gameplay mechanics.” Here’s the official description, reportedly sourced from a press release:
On the planet Dahna, reverence has always been given to Rena, the planet in the sky, as a land of the righteous and divine. Stories handed down for generations became truth and masked reality for the people of Dahna. For 300 years, Rena has ruled over Dahna, pillaging the planet of its resources and stripping people of their dignity and freedom. Our tale begins with two people, born on different worlds, each looking to change their fate and create a new future.
Finally, Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch Remastered is said to be an update version of Level 5’s role-playing game for PlayStation 4, Windows PC, and Xbox One. A version of the game is also apparently coming to Nintendo Switch.
