Sony held a State of Play livestream news event today, and for the debut presentation, the gaming company unveiled a slew of virtual reality games coming to PlayStation VR. One of the spookier options, Five Nights at Freddy’s VR: Help Wanted, is slated to release sometime spring 2019.
In this version of the game, you’ll try to fend of haunted animatronics and scenarios from the original games — as well as new situations exclusive to the virtual reality version. In the debut trailer, you could see enemies coming toward the camera and performing their signature jump scares at the player. Also worth noting: Based on the footage, it seems that the player has to physically look around for tasks such as handling the camera. Likely, this detail will make looking back and forth between scenes all the more intense.
Five Nights at Freddy’s VR: Help Wanted is being developed by virtual reality studio Steel Wool Studios.
